Journey mapping
I generated my first user journey early on in the project, when the aim of Edible Space was only to help users choose a plant.
Map 1: Jess finds a plant
When the app's purpose expanded beyond simply choosing plants, to also providing care instructions and a problem solving service, I returned to journey mapping.
Map 2: Jess finds plants, cares for them and resolves problems, before repeating the cycle.
I also mapped another user journey, to test out the concept in a different scenario.
Map 3: James finds plants, cares for them and resolves problems, before repeating the cycle.
These journeys helped me map out my app's sections.
