Enhanceable is a daycare centre in Kingston for disabled adults. I was asked to run sensory gardening workshops for service users, and create a garden space.
The outdoor space available was dark and ill-suited to growing plants, and service users had a wide range of accessibility needs. To meet these accessibility considerations I 'brought the outside in' by creating an indoor garden space. My workshops focused on container growing, nature crafts and flower arranging, activities that all users could participate in.
